Retroplex - The Retroman Amplifier

We all love to play - at any and all hours of the day .... but that can be a problem.  You want to nail some cranked vintage stack tones but Mrs. Retroman is sleeping .... or your bundle of joy has finally decided to nap.  What to do?

Introducing the Retroplex!  This less-than-one-watt tone monster is made to fill this need.  Full cranked tone at conversational volumes - Great for recording!  Check out these tasty tones (with clumsy fumbling courtesy of me):

STRAT CLEAN                              STRAT BOOST DYNAMICS                                     STRAT BOOST                          LES PAUL BOOST

STRAT-BOOST OFF        STRAT-BOOST ON- PICK DYNAMICS     STRAT-BOOST 4 / VOL 8        LP-BOOST 4 / VOL 8

The Retroplex (all valve) features a full 2 stage 12AX7 preamplifier with an additional 12AX7 reserved for the selectable Boost .... from Angus to Eddie, you can find it in here.

The tone stack follows the familiar British shape - remember, you are not moving oceans of air, so things behave a bit more precisely - full compliment:  Bass - Mid - Treble

Power amplification is provided by a single 12AU7 in a self split push/pull arrangement.
